The Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy and the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training have signed on 30 January 2017 three partnership agreements supporting the implementation of shared IT solutions developed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy for the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training.
Mr. Rachid Belmokhtar, Minister of National Education and Vocational Training and Mr. Khalid Berjaoui, Deputy Minister chaired the ceremony.
The agreements were signed by Mr. Youssef Belqasmi, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training and Ms Latifa Echihabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy.
These solutions will allow the digitation of three processes, namely the management of queries and complaints, the management of appointments and the processing of mail.
The implementation of these solutions aligns with the Royal instructions announced in the speech of his Majesty the King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, on 14 October 2016, at the opening of the first session of the first year of the 10th parliamentary term, and calling for a significant improvement in the quality of administration services in order to meet users’ expectations, especially through the improvement of the relationship with citizens and the generalisation of e-government services.
This implementation is part of the “e-government” scheme conducted by the Government in order to modernise administrative processes, promote good governance and better serve citizens and companies.
Already in operation in 24 ministries and public institutions, the claim management platform enables citizens to submit a claim, possibly geolocalised on a map and follow up on its processing by the public administration.
The online appointment booking service, for its part, aims at making public administration more welcoming, more accessible and closer to citizens who can book an appointment online, from their computers, mobile phones or on-site.
The third application enables the digitation of mail processing by public administration. This service, already in operation in two ministries and public institutions, is currently being deployed in seven other administrations.
Through the implementation of these solutions, the e-gov scheme expands its ranges of services in support of more efficiency, accessibility, quality and transparency for the public service.
