The 2nd day of the 7th Marrakech Air Show, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, from October 30 to November 2, 2024, was rich in conferences and various activities.

Hundreds of institutional and professional visitors from the world of aeronautics, decision-makers, experts and researchers attended the event to take advantage of the rich and varied program offered by the show.

From hundreds of stands showcasing the most advanced technologies in the aeronautics and defense industry, to themed conferences and workshops, BtoB meetings and meetings between official delegations, static aircraft displays and air shows, the show lived up to its promise of being the essential platform for players in the aerospace and defense industries, offering them the opportunity to present their innovations and make strategic connections.

Conferences and roundtables featuring renowned leaders and players from the national and international aeronautics sector addressed various aspects of the development of the aeronautics, aerospace and defense industry, as well as emerging trends and current and future challenges facing the sector: achievements and challenges of the national aeronautics ecosystem, supply chain performance in the context of increasing aircraft programs, sustainable strategies to meet the challenges facing MRO, supply chain and sustainable practices, technological innovations in the defense sector and the future of aircraft interiors.

The Marrakech Air Show 2024 is also a global hub of opportunities to establish partnerships and agreements, opening up new prospects for growth in the sector and for its stakeholders.

The second day was marked by the signing of four memorandums of understanding between the Moroccan government and aeronautical companies concerning industrial investment projects aimed at developing Boeing's sourcing from Moroccan aeronautical actors.
Taking place within the Boeing ecosystem, these projects will enable the development of new business lines and improve the sector's local integration rate.
