The 7th edition of the Marrakech Air Show, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, from October 30 to November 2, 2024, continued to shine on its 3rd day, attracting more and more visitors, who were won over by the positive national and international response to this major event.
Institutions, aeronautical professionals, decision-makers and experts attended the show in numbers as high as during the first 2 days, to discover the world of aeronautics and aerospace, which was magnificently revealed to them through the exhibition of the most advanced aeronautical technologies, high-level conferences and thematic workshops, static aircraft displays and air shows.
The large number of visitors and official delegations who made the trip to the Marrakech Air Show, as well as the presence of 180 exhibitors representing the biggest names in aeronautics, testify to the show's appeal as a must-attend event in the world of aeronautics, and confirm the positioning of the Kingdom of Morocco as a global aeronautical industrial hub.
The focus of the day was on training, human capital and future human resource needs. Conferences led by renowned aeronautical leaders, and to which some 100 students from Moroccan engineering schools and universities were invited, highlighted the crucial importance of these elements to the sector's growth and development.
The Marrakech Air Show (MAS) was thus a major platform for highlighting the successes of the Moroccan training system and the ongoing skills development of the country's aeronautical industry. The show also provided a unique gateway for promoting locally-trained talent, offering new development prospects for both companies and young people, and attracting new investment to the sector.
The Marrakech Air Show 2024 is also a global crossroads for innovation. This year's show placed particular emphasis on new technologies, with an area dedicated to start-ups and research projects, while also showcasing Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in the aeronautical sector. On day 3, the show's spotlight turned to local start-ups, who presented innovative technological solutions developed to meet the sector's major challenges.
Indeed, the Moroccan aerospace industry's openness to Industry 4.0, its investment in training, research and the development of new technologies and products to stay at the cutting edge of innovation, has given rise to an environment conducive to the emergence of several innovative start-ups.
By bringing together key players in the sector, the event offered young companies a unique platform to showcase their innovative projects, enabling them to demonstrate their ability to transform the Moroccan and international aeronautical landscape.
