Launch of the 2nd edition of the Fez Smart Factory Competitions
The second edition of the Fez Smart Factory ecosystem competitions, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and supported by UNIDO, is now open to researchers, startups, industrial companies, R&D entities, and engineering firms, with the aim of promoting innovation and the development of smart factories in Morocco. This initiative provides targeted support for each advancement stage of industrial projects:
- Researchers and inventors who have designed an innovative product with a manufacturing process tested at the laboratory scale (TRL 3) and wish to validate it at the pilot scale (TRL 5);
- Startups with a smart factory project for an innovative product tested at the pilot scale (TRL 5) aiming to reach the demonstration stage (TRL 8);
- Startups and industrial companies with a smart factory project tested at the demonstration scale that seek support to reach the industrial scale in Morocco;
- R&D entities looking to provide services to researchers, startups, and industrial companies to optimize the value chains of their smart factory projects;
- Engineering firms interested in offering Industry 4.0 solutions for specific use cases.
